    Anybody Else Cheating?

I cheated (if it makes you feel any better)! I am on mushy and soft, and I had half a piece of pizza - I chewed that sucker till it was practically water, though, so in the end, it really was just mush Then, BY ACCIDENT, out of habit, I grabbed a handful of popcorn when my kids made some for a snack. I literally wasn't even thinking (just goes to show...) so I didn't chew that as well at all, but now I am sitting here worrying I caused a leak. So I am trying to get back to being vigilant.
  3. So my paperwork said to spend 10 days in clears, 10 days in full liquids, then 10 days mushy BUT you could move up the next phase earlier if you don't have any nausea or issues - but no solids till 1 month no matter what. So my stomach feels great - have had no nausea whatsoever. So I spent 6 days in clears, then 3 in full, and now am in mushy/soft. But I am not feeling full EVER. I am not feeling hungry, so that is good, but I am worried I am overdoing the food since I am not feeling restriction. Don't want to stretch this sucker out or put stress on the stitches. In the last 90 minutes, I had a cup of soup, a pudding cup, and an applesauce cup. Does that seem like too much?
  4. Happy 38th Birthday specialkai!

  5. Yes, you can. My bmi is 28 with no issues. I have about 40 pounds to lose. Dr. Ortiz in Mexico will do 28 and up. If I lose even 1 pound I won't qualify:-) I am on the fence, not fully decided about doing something drastic like this. But then again, people who have 100 pounds to lose must have been at a point where they only had 40 pounds to lose, too. If it were that easy to lose it, no one would end up heavier! Anyway...just call Dr. Ortiz and chat!

  7. I am considering this surgery and am looking for anyone else who might be on the light side of "obese" when they had this surgery. I am not looking for naysayers to say I shouldn't do this because I "only" have 40 pounds to lose. I have lived with this weight situation my whole life and I am so tired of it. I am ready for a big change! I am just looking to connect with someone else who started on the lighter side! Thanks!
