  1. Hi! New to board so just reading for first time. I have had a total of 3 infections at the port site. First two took antibiotics(cephalexin) and went away for a while, then finally about a month ago my tubing started protruding through skin (yes, could actually see white tube on outside!!) and went back to TJ to have fixed. They cleaned up and moved the port to the left. Now I am having severe burning and pain at the port site, but am hopeful that this is healing process. I am happy with the band overall, so I am dealing. Hope you are feeling better! Just watch for symptoms to reoccur, and be careful.
