  1. That is so fantastic for you. I am 8 months out and have lost 50 lbs. I have had a standstill for 3 months but my eating habits got kind of out of control. Now I am thinking the way I did when I first got my band and was losing faster. My food diary looks a lot different now than it did last month, I hope it helps! You are an inspiration to us all! Thank you!
  2. I was banded in Sept 2011 also, and have lost 50lbs but have been on a plateau for 3 months! I am so discouraged and frustrated. It seemed like the weight was coming off so easily before and now the same for 3 months! I am so excited to get the remaining weight off, but it just keeps hanging on to me! It makes me feel better that I am not the only one going through this!
  3. I just went in on Friday and found out my port flipped after three different doctors poked me 20 or so times. Uggh! I am waiting for insurance preauthorization so I can get in hopefully next week for a repair. I have been feeling very frustrated about this, but so far I have liked my band so I am trying to keep a positive mind. I have been exercising and been feeling stronger so the thought of having a recovery period again disappoints me. I am worried that once they do the repair it will happen again. Any experience with the repair not keeping the port in place? I am glad to hear that I am not the only one going through this, but not glad to hear that you all have had problems too. Thanks for the input!
