I am one year out and I still have this issue but it because I am anemic. Have some blood work done and see if that is the issue.

Hi ladies, I still feel like I a bit of a failure. Why could I just do this on my own. Especially since i had complications with my revision surgery and experienced things that i would not wish on my worst enemy. I am looking forward to long term and that gets me through for now. I just had my drain removed and that was huge!! The pain from the drain had my in agony.

I had it all done at once. I developed and infection where they removed the port and ended up in the hospital for 6 nights. Very long journey wit lots of pain, I am just todat starting to feel a bit better. The drain (I ended yo having 2) was the problem. Once the second drain came out I felt normal again. It is not an easy process and I will never take my body for granted again.

Hi! I know how you feel. I was sleeved on the 9th and had a hell of a time and I am still just getting over the hump. I have regrets with not asking for more pain meds. If you are in pain then take them! You should not be in pain! I was crying for 4 days straight before I finally went back and got more meds and the drained removed. Mine was hitting my lung and causing breathing issues. I also could not stand straight and was having severe back pain., Now, I had complications and was in the hospital for 6 days(2 in the ICU) developed and infection where my port from my lap band was removed. Keep your head up! It was hard but each day the pain does get better. I hope to be able to exercise by next weekend. I have learned that i will never take my body for granted again. The experience that I went through but was not pleasant but I hope the results will end up outweighing the bad.

Hi, I also had my revision the same day nd just came home from the hospital yesterday. Ended up in the icu and needed a blood transfusion. They keep telling me the pain is going to get better but I am to the point of regret. Are you having pain? I am getting my second drain removed on Friday and i cant wait. I think this is one of the main sources of the most pain. I have had many surgeries but never did I have an experience like this. Please tell me I did the right thing?

My doctor will not know if he can remove my band and sleeve me all at one time until he gets inside and checks out what is going on. I was banded in 2006 and have had acid reflux ever since. I am hoping that I wake up sleeved:)
