  1. That was a fabulous story. I too started exactly at 289. I am now 171. But lost alot recently due to being sick from gallstones. My one year anniversary is approaching 10/10. And I don't loose as much as the beginning but am still loosing approximately 1-2 pounds a week. I don't exercise much but I do watch what I eat and eat what I want to in moderation. I am very happy with my decision. I live this post. Thank u
  2. I had several gallbladder attacks. Pain so bad under ur ribs and shoot to ur back, chest and make u feel like u are having a heart attack. The hida scan will only show if ur gallbladder stopped functioning not stones ..the only thing that shows gallstones is the ultrasound. Make them do it. My symptoms were constipation then it would be bad diarrhea..at first. Then when it got really bad I started with the nausea, vomiting and no appetite. I was like that for several weeks because I was scared of more doctor bills and being told it was constipation but I insisted on the ultrasound this time and they said it was full of stones and now infected. Had to come out. 39% of people that loose weight rapidly get stones. Especially weight loss surgery patients but I don't know why it happens and I don't think it has anything to do with what u eat because I eat extremely healthy. I was miserable for months and so disgusted my doctor took so long to diagnose me.

    Gallbladder :-(

I had my gallbladder checked before my surgery and it was fine. I just had mine out 9/11. Less then a year from my sleeve.
  4. Yes Tuesday ...took them this long to figure it out and 3 attacks later ..I started vomiting last few weeks and couldn't keep anything down.
  5. Well I ended up having gallstones so I was misdiagnosed ..although I did have constipation and nothing worked except citrate magnesium and that even stopped working. Sorry..I tries everything they said, nothing ever seemed to work. Good Luck
  6. Just got back from emergency, its pneumonia. Just wanted to send an update!
  7. On September 11th I had my gallbladder removed. They were able to do it laproscopic, my question is 3 days later I have been short of breath and wheezing? No other symptoms. I called yesterday and they thought it was the Percoset, so I stopped it and I am still wheezing. I just called again and left a message for my doctor. I did not have this after my sleeve, anyone know what this could be? Is it normal? Thank you for any advice:)

    Gallbladder :-(

I have been searching on here to see if anyone else had similar issues as me. I had 2 really bad attacks. Both times under my ribs shooting up my chest so bad I could barely breath. Yet the hospital or my surgeon never thought to check my gallbladder. I had to call and request an ultrasound. They told me Constipation both times..really?? I'm so irritated with the doctors around here and them blowing me off all the time. I'm sick of being sick! Nausea and horrible gas pain everyday..and I'm so exhausted too. Hope ur surgery goes well if u have it. Keep us posted!

    Rabbit Pellets

I recommend you handle it asap or you will end up like I did...read my post I just put on about being rushed to emergency Thursday. I have a block and it is not pretty. Do whatever you can? Eat tons and tons of fiber filled products. It is so much more serious than anyone acts like. My doctor said it like this, normal people eat enough to push it out, we don't, so we have to substitute. Drink fiber supplement everyday and push your water. This is what he told me. Maybe if desperate like me, he said miralax is gentle and also a few fellow sleevers just told me to try warm water with non iodized salt..tea or a hot bath. Let me know if you need any other help, I di not take it serious enough and it became a huge problem. Best of luck!
  10. No my doctor saw me, I went in and he read the cat scan. Here is the problem, the hospital I had my surgery at is the only one trained in the area but it is 45 minutes away, I couldnt make it there. He was so mad they didn't call him. Trust me
  11. I havent tried the hot bath, sounds like a good idea and relaxing too. I am definitely gonna try it. Thank you
  12. Great thank you, I havent eaten yet today but I have drank metamucil and coffee, do you think it will still work?
