    hungry between meals

    its like im fine with the hunger for a little then it changes...am i gonna have to get fills every other month for the rest of my life?? if that's so, im getting bypass, eff this should i get another fill? i can't even handle another .5 cc!

  4. To those who made goal or are steady losing...how long before/after a meal do you drink and how much liquids are you getting in a day? Also, I'm hearing different things about drinking with meals...some surgeons say yes some no???

  6. There are different band rules to follow but they seem to vary from dr to dr and sometimes it's conflicting. I was wondering where to find the best most up to date, correct answers. I ordered a book online and it seems good but it's 4 yrs old! Not sure if that matters but lots can change in that time. Anyone know of a good source ( I have a new dr who i didn't get much time to speak with)??
  7. Thank you for responding with that! I am just going to listen to my own body and eat a few snacks a day- 1/2 protein shake, 1/2 banana etc., it makes me feel better and not starving at meals. Thanks again and I should have ordered your book first
  8. Thanks Jean, the title is "Weight loss surgery with the AGB" by Dr Robert Sewell. It's saying what I've heard before, then I read about this other band surgeon who says that not drinking while eating is old thinking...?? My thing is, I get hungry between meals (half a banana will usually satisfy) and a snack is a big no no. Btw, you're awesome for the doggie rescue I've done it my whole life (they tend to find me lol)

  11. I'm at approx 4.5cc in 10 cc band, I went to 5 like in the early spring but was too tight. I've been noticing I'm able to eat slightly more and need to snack in between meals. I'm wondering if it's time for a fill but 1/2cc?? Is that even worth it? Should I try a whole cc?

    A Few Questions...

    So for anyone who is counting calories..how many do you eat and how do you divide them in the day?Also, I am weaning off one anti depressant and starting a new one at the same time... I feel withdrawal symptoms and think it's making me STARVING like an overwhelming urge to jam food in my face, but not any food of course, sweets like cookies and candy..is this part of the withdrawal or maybe the band needs to be tightened- i havent had a problem with restriction till now- any ideas?? (btw I am in no way an emotional eater?

  20. So I hate doing it but it really helps me to have specific goals to stick to, and I like the challenge, so I'm going to be positive and not beat myself up too much! Anyone else find it easy to count, and how many calories are you doing?
