  1. I use them ground up,they are likea finely ground wheat germ,sprinkle them on anything,I put them on peanut butter whole wheat toast

  4. No not everyone has a drain. Is is possible for you to contact another baratric surgeon in Your area? Explain the situation,tell them you need to see a Dr now. If not go to an ER. The drain should probably be removed
  5. I woul definitely call and demand to speak to someone,dont let them put you on hold,and demand answers.remember they technically work for you,you pay them. And im sure they cant afford a bad reputation
  6. I have asthma& I dont think they will cancel your surgery because of it. It can only help yiur asthma in the long tub

  9. Sorry didnt answer yoyr question,I felt bloated,like I was constipated or had gas.then I started dty heaving,just felt like crap,couldn't get comfortable.the onky thing that made me feel decent was to walk. I knew the symtoms right away,called my pcp and had an ultra sound done
  10. I had my surgery in March 2012. Having my gall bladder removed Friday,so about 9 months. But everyone is different
  11. My surgeon has said its okay to use a straw,the reality of air is no greater than not using a straw,probably less if you keep in submerged in your drink.I drink out of them all the time
  12. I take at least 2 fiber choice chewables a day,you can take up to 6.friut flavors. Also Chia seeds
  13. Also there are Ready To Drink Isopure protein drinks they have 40 grams of protein. Are a clear ( a little thick) drink. There are various flavors I preferred alpine punch. Available at GNC,Vitamin warehouse needs to be very cold to drink
  14. You dont need to run. I do a mile,at 2.6 walking the entire time. Need to work up to running,dont jeopardize it by doing too much at one time,you have the rest of your life to get there

  16. Believe me,its not only the shakes,because I dont drink shakes of any kind,before or after surgery.even ones from fast food rest. I never drank,but because you are on fluids only,thats all thats gonna leave your body. Like someone else said,liquid in,liquid out
  17. Whete do you livr?? We have a support group first sat of the month at Tucson medical center.its great and one if those two surgeons is akways there

  19. Everyone is different,but 90 lbs in 6 months is great. And if he asks are you having any issues,tell him about whats going on right now.he should be supportive and understanding.afterall we are only human
  20. I agree with lifetimeloser. And as I posted on another thread. We should be ambassadors of our new lifestyle.be open and honest.eventually they will know.or think you're dying of some awful disease because of how much wieght you've lost.might as well come clean.you might help someone who needs to make this lifesaving decision but diesnt know where to go ir who to talk to. Be proud of what you have done
  21. I had explosive diarrhea,so its normal,but try some powerade or gatorade zero,so you dont loose to many electrolytes
