I need some advice what medicines did you take when you were sick. I have high fever sore throat aches and pains. but I am afraid to take just anything

what I thought was a common cold end up being pneumonia.....omg it is the worst

Yes I was afraid to take just anything. But I did start taking Tylenol and it seems to be working so far

My health has changed so much. I am off my Diabetes meds along with my blood pressure meds. I have so much more energy and My husband has noticed a change in my attitude. So far I am really enjoying this life...

I am a month out. The first week i felt like crap. But once the gas moved I started to feel great. I too had buyers remorse. But as the pain eased so did me feeling like wtf did I do. But congrats on your new you and welcome to losing side.

No it was only the first two days for me. It helped me burp which also helped with the gas

No I just had not moved my bowels in like 5 days. But was not taking anything nor did I have the urge to go.

I was cleaning and i picked up something and went to put it on the floor. As i sat it down i heard popping noises from my stomach. immediately following i had the craziest urge to use the bathroom. and omg it was the most horrible thing i smelled before. now i am light headed and nauseous. Should i be worried. I called the doc and i am waiting for a call back. Has this happened to anyone before.

Thank you everyone. So am I. Thursday is my second check up. the first week 10 days was 35 pounds down and since then i am only down by another 5 which I am not mad about 40 pounds is great to me in a months time. I may hit a stall like a lot of people do. I am prepared for it.

it was a Blockage of poop. (embarrassing) and when I bent over It moved lol. and they said the Light headedness and nausea was just coincidental. But I feel ok thank you guys. I was worried I popped the incisions. Breathing easier

I was sleeved on 01-30-2012. It took me along time to commit to this. Unlike some I am 34 married no children. I had four failed pregnancies. High blood pressure, diabetes, a half functioning heart and a list of other issues. I tried everything. They would work in the beginning and then they would stop working. I realized that my life was important to me and if I ever wanted to have children I needed to have a life altering change. This was my last result and I do not regret it. It is very hard and I was a little mad at myself after the surgery. But I do not regret my decision and I would say Research research and research. Everyone recovers and loses differetly but having your own knowledge and seeing different people experiences helps alot. I did a lot of research, even down to watching the videos on how the procedure is done. hopes this helps

How about sugar free popsicles. I find the breyers sugar free popsicles to be very good. Hope this helps a little

I had my first follow up appointment. I am down 35 pounds 8 being pre op weight loss. I feel good still a little sore. I don't start my Puree till Monday but I don't mind not hungry anyways lol. Yayyyy. My presure is down to normal and my diabtetes is down into the normal range. Thank you guys . I was shocked at those numbers, my Doc said it may slow up a bit due to a fast lost in 10 days. I do not watch the scale, that would drive me nuts. But for my health I am more excited about that more than anything else. I don't go back for two weeks, but I start my puree on Monday I am way nervous about that. I am afraid my blood sugar levels will rise. Wish me luck

I find that when taking meds the brewers fruit bars help. Sugar Free of course. I hope you feel better soon.

Finally I am sleeved but I am not liking it so far. my stomach is so filled with gas that it is unberable. I am able to keep down liquids but I am starting to question my judgementon this. Hopefully I will feel better soon

Yes finally the gas has subsided. I have been walking and walking and walking. I am still tender but i feel alot better. Being that I am diabetic I get nervous when I do not eat, but my sugar has been normal. So the protein shakes was replaced with the gluceria shakes and I am surprised I am able to tolerate it. But it helps keeps your blood sugar level. Although I do feel week if I walk a long periods of time, I am starting to like my sleeve.

Yes I asked my surgeon wth did I do. I will continue to walk and take my medicine. I am a big baby. I hate pain. Can't wait for this gas to come out n one way or the other thank you guys

So I go for surgery tomorrow, everyone please keep me in your prayers. I managed to survive the pre op diet 3 times lol and I can't wait to start my new journey. I am starving but I can't wait to go praying I will not wake hungry. Anyway just wanted to let you know and i will keep everyone posted as soon as I can.
