  2. Yeah It happens. You have to remember your body is low on fluids in the beginning. You have to drink plenty of water and like the other person said Popsicles soup all count. Believe me. eventually it will get back to normal.
  3. I am working out Zumba kick boxing and step class along with my reg training. I do feel a lot healthier and energetic I was able to walk up three flights of stairs without feeling like I was going to die. That is an huge accomplishment for me. Thank you guys I appreciate all the advice and encouragement
  4. Yes I have realized that I am able to fit into a smaller size clothing even though I lost no weight. And when I evaluate my body I notice difference in different areas. So maybe that is the case thank you
  5. I feel like I can eat more without the pains and that is worrying me. Before I couldn't bare it. some foods more than others full me up faster. the scale has not moved in a month and even though I have lost 70 pounds since surgery back in January. Should I worry. Any suggestions are welcomed
  6. Same for me the day of surgery i slept all day and my roomy was moving all around' lol. I couldn't figure t out for nothing lol. But the second day I was moving as well
  7. Yeah it's always one incision that hurts the worst. my biggest incision was very sore for up to two weeks but barable after awhile. try not to wear anything that adds extra pressure in that area
  8. I think mostly everyone had the moments. I did the minute i came out. Untill I relaized I was not doing enough walking and i was not taking my pain meds.. One I started to move I started to feel so much better. I didnt have stitches my doc used glue but it was painful but as it heals it gets better. Try not to drink so close to your meals after you eat. like a hour or a hour and a half. you may be putting to much in your sleeve which can also weigh you down
  9. Yes once they go up you will have so much more energy I made my own protein shakes and I always used bananas the have a lot of potassium And it feels you up quick. Good luck to you
  10. It's been 10 weeks since my surgery and I am doing well. I do find myself wanting to eat the wrong things but I throw the thought out the window for now. I do realize if I take one bite too many oh boy I feel it. But I am so much more energetic and I love trying on new clothes. I am loving my sleeve.. I have added photos to my Gallery for anyone who wants to see the before and after. who would have thought 60 pounds would make such a difference. I love doing zumba and kick boxing classes and I am going to try fit boot camp.... Wish me luck... But I am trying to work this sleeve and not let it work me.. Good luck to all who is on the losing side as well as the ones going for their sleeve...

  12. Dr Belsley did my surgery he is the best.. I had no complications and healed very well.. The staff at the hospital was great. I had a nurse name Amy and she was terrific and the night nurses was as well I am in the process now of doing before and after pics. It's been about 10 weeks and i am down 60 pounds and I feel great...Keep checking pics should be up in a few minutes
  13. My hair started thinning a couple of weeks Try to get those vitamins in and keep your hair hydrated and water you have to take in those fluids. That was the advice I got from my doctor. I'm nine weeks out and pray it stops soon..

  16. Yes I was afraid to take just anything. But I did start taking Tylenol and it seems to be working so far
  17. I need some advice what medicines did you take when you were sick. I have high fever sore throat aches and pains. but I am afraid to take just anything
  18. My health has changed so much. I am off my Diabetes meds along with my blood pressure meds. I have so much more energy and My husband has noticed a change in my attitude. So far I am really enjoying this life...
  19. I am a month out. The first week i felt like crap. But once the gas moved I started to feel great. I too had buyers remorse. But as the pain eased so did me feeling like wtf did I do. But congrats on your new you and welcome to losing side.
