I'm beginning my Lap-Band journey, haven't decided if I'm going to do it, but am getting closer. About five years ago, a friend of mine had the Lap-Band surgery, but I wasn't ready. The idea of not being able to eat what I want when I want was something I was not ready for. I think I'm ready now. I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and type 2 diabetes. My knees hurt, my hips hurt. I used to go to Jazzercise, and I started going again a few weeks ago. My hips hurt so bad I didn't want to exercise. I don't want to live like this the rest of my life. Well, we'll see how this goes.
