Hello everyone!

My name is Melissa and from the most southern tip of Texas and I love it!

I'm 31 years old, 5'2 and weigh about 218. I have a beautiful 3 year old daughter and she's the reason I decided to get this surgery. I wanna live to see her grow up, play with her, and just be there for her all the time without having the excuse that I'm too tired...

I'm tired of being overweight/obese!! I know God lead me to this forum becasue I have found so much great support and information here!

I started my process in August and i just had my last PCP appointment 2 weeks ago and now I'm just waiting for the insurance approval. I'm praying to be sleeved in January and get started with my new life and the new me!!
