Plz don't let her sabotage all ur hard work and effort in ur weight loss journey! U have worked too long n hard to revert bk to what u were. If therapy doesn't wrk, I would suggest a temp separation, it sounds like u r very upset with her and she doesn't seem to care abt ur feelings. Im not trying to b harsh, but u gotta do what u gotta do!

I find some of the supports groups on FB are kinder and more supportive. I'll never understand why some people just need to be so mean spirited. Thanks for the words of wisdom

Yay for you! BTW - blogs don't always have to be informational to be beneficial to others (or yourself). I've found that sometimes even those blogs that are basically online diaries can be helpful, simply because others can identify with them and feel comforted that they are not alone in their feelings of insecurity, confusion, etc.

I was swallowing capsules in the hospital.. My doctor told me to wait two weeks to start taking the larger calcium citrate tablets, but I was cleared to swallow everything else on Day 2, including my small synthroid which is in tablet form, my acid reducer which was a capsule, capsule antibiotic and capsule multivitamin.
If your doctor allows you to take capsules, but your meds only come in tablets, you can buy empty capsules, crush your tablets and then fill the capsules with the powder from your crushed tablets. I know it's a PITA, but it beats having to taste it.

Great story. I wonder what you really weigh. I'm super morbidly obese at nearly 400 lbs. But I remember when I was 30 and weighed 125. Next time I weighed myself I had gained 5 pounds and I thot my life was over. I was so self conscious of how I looked, especially in shorts.
Ha! I'd give one of my legs to weigh "that much" now. I'd give money, but I don't have any. ha ha

Guys are so weird so I can only advise 2 things: 1) Stop playing games and call him, or 2) Ditch the tender immature ego and find a real man who is mature.
Course, what do I know. Never been married. I finally feel I know enough now to act like a grown up in a relationship. Maybe after I drop couple hundred pounds and have a makeover, I'll start looking again.

I'm sorry you didn't like the Quest bars. Did you get a sample pack or just one flavor?
I started out with the sample pack. I only really liked a couple, but that's OK. I would be happy to have 3 flavors to choose from. So #1 is Vanilla Almond, #2 is Mixed Berry Bliss and #3 is their new Peanut Butter Bars (like Reese's Cups).

I eat one bar a day, usually in late afternoon or late evening. Like you, I don't have boo coo bucks, so that's all I can afford. What's really great about Quest is that not only do you get 20g of protein, you also get 20g of fiber, which is what keeps your appetite away. Plus they are soooo healthy at only 1g of sugar and 5 carbs.
I have heard others say to heat them in Microwave first. But I love them any which way. To others: try them out. Buy from GNC or online at Amazon.
