  1. After my surgery in 2009 I switched insurance companies and my new insurance will not pay for my fills. After pregnancy I had multiple problems with my band and my doctor took out quite a bit of my Fluid out at a heavy out of pocket expense. In the past 8 months I have gained all 40 pounds of my pregnancy weight back as my band is nearly empty. Since cash isn't something that's free flowing I could use some advice on physician's who will work with uninsured lap band patients and not charge such an outrageous fee for a 5 minute appointment. So far the best price I've found is $190 a fill and I just can't spare that as I'm sure it will take multiple fills to get me back to where I was before pregnancy. I live in SW Washington area and I'm willing to travel within a reasonable distance. Thank you!
