Today is my one month post-op surgiversary!

3 wks out: After a one week stall, the scale has finally moved! I lost 3 lbs!! I feel like I am loosing slower than some other who had the VSG surgery but it's okay. At least the scale is moving in the right direction again.

Hey! I'm doing well. I'm 8 days post op and I'm feeling pretty good. I have a little pain here and there but it's manageable. How are u?

It's official...I am sleeved!!! :-)

Tomorrow is the big day!! Less than 16 hours and I'll be on the surgery table, if God willing. I am excited!

I started my 5 day, pre-op liquid diet today. I'm hungry already.

Today is my last day on solid foods. My pre-op liquid diet begins tomorrow!!!

Yes!!! Counting down the days!!

Thanks for responding. I started taking biotin already so I can have it in my system. I guess I'm overly concerned because I don't want the nine months I dedicated to growing the locs, to be in vain. I'm sure you know the first several months can be trying. :-/. I'm still loving the journey tho. ...Good luck with your sleeve journey!

Congrats on getting sleeved. I am having my procedure done on Monday, the 12th.

I noticed that your hair is locked. They look lovely, btw. I am growing locs now. I am about nine months out and I am EXTREMELY concerned about my hair thinning or falling out. I have a few precautions I plan to take. Are you concerned about this as well?

My surgery date changed from 9/19 to 9/12!!!
