My name is Lisa, I was banded on 3/8/11 (I have currently lost 69lbs and 29.50 inches). I have been researching Bariatric surgery since 2005 - and never had the nerve to go through with it. Something about having everything rearranged inside of me freaked me out so I gave up. Now after doing research and coming across the Lapband and Dr Joyce, I am so glad I made the decision!!

I have just become unemployed, so I am currently struggling with the stress of finding a job and trying to stay focused - I am hoping that joining this forum will help with that.

I am hoping to be down another 40lbs by my 40th birthday in March - that is my new goal!
