I am researching the Center for Obesity Surgery in Dallas Texas and Dr Victor Gonzalez and saw that 14 other members here have used this Dr. Can anyone tell me anything good or bad about him?

Just signed up today and thought I would introduce myself. I just started looking into this but and shooting for 2 months out for my surgery. I am thinking of going south to Mexico for the procedure for the cost savings. Thats actually about the only way I can get it done. I am a bit apprehensive however because of the horror stories you hear. I found a post on this very thing though from WasaBubbleButt from back in 2007 that was very helpful. One thing she did mention that I didnt think about was all the people on these sites trying to get you to go to one doctor or the other. That was a bit concerning to me because I came to this site looking for help and guidence not to be hearded to a doctor that may or may not be safe. However, I looked at many many other posts and think that the vast majority of people here are real people willing to help people out and that is why I signed up. So that being said, I could really use some direction about which doctor to choose. I would love to hear from people about why their doctor was good and also why their doctor was NOT good. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
