I went in for my 2nd. fill on Tues and it went fine. I am now down to 391 from 440 since Sept. I feel great and look forward to my next fill in 6 wks.
I still have to S L O W D O W N when I eat. I may get a timer to make sure I am taking 20 minutes to eat. Other than that I am happy to face Christmas confidently knowing that I can control my eating with the help of my band.

Since my banding on Sept 21st. I have lost 20 lbs. That makes my total weight loss at 40lbs. I went to my VA doc and she said my A1C is now at 6. She told me that I am off of all diabetic meds and am now considered not diabetic. Thanks to GOD for this progress.

I am feeling better and the full feeling has not left yet. It is hard to force down the Protein Shakes since I feel full all the time, but I manage. The gas has finally left my shoulder area. It does hurt to cough or sneeze where they located my port, but it is not too bad. i will report next when I start on soft food in a few days. So far so good

Had my surgery at 8am and got home at 6pm. It went textbook perfect. Just a little pain from the port placement and the gas pain in my left shoulder, but I am well. The surgical team was fantastic!!! more later
