I have had a major weight problem since leaving the Army after my service in Desert Storm in 1991. I went from 235 to 435 in about 2 years and have been this heavy since 1993. I had lost all hope of ever being a normal weight person until I was told by the Veterans Administration that they would pay for my banding.
I am hopeful to be back to a healthy weight within 2 years.
