6 days post op report

I am feeling better and the full feeling has not left yet. It is hard to force down the protein shakes since I feel full all the time, but I manage. The gas has finally left my shoulder area. It does hurt to cough or sneeze where they located my port, but it is not too bad. i will report next when I start on soft food in a few days. So far so good :)

Glad to hear you're doing well after 6 days! It will get better as you move forward. When do you get to go onto soft foods? I was allowed pureed foods for week 2 and then soft foods for week 3. Don't worry, when you start eating more regular type foods you will start to feel some hunger again :)

Today begins my 4th week post op. I actually didnt do the mushie stage at all and i was only on full liquids for about 4 days. was on clear liquids for a week. I went in to see the dr 1 week post op and he said i was healing great and doing good and to just do full liquids until i felt like i could handle some regular food. I have not had any sliming or pb episodes. I dont have a fill yet. I go in for a fill in a week. I was really happy he let me skip mushies i was not at all excited aobut the baby food. My advice follow drs orders.
