  1. I am looking for size 20 and 18 I live in Texas and if is pretty local I can meet you somewhere
  2. I have had some ups and downs not pretty at all but I do not dwell on it I move past it. My personality is live life to the fullest ...as if everyday may be your last. I go out a lot I have a bad cause of arthritis but who cares get up and get moving
  3. me personally I will get on here and tell everyone about a slip of my lapband but I do not play poor me .....life is horrible bull crap. When you see the same people whine day in and day out its annoying... The lapband does not change or help a case of a bad personality. I did not get my lapband to sit behind a computer for the rest of my life and find the negative in everything I got it to live a better life....since getting lapband I have done 10 5ks, I got a motorcycle license and ride, no me sitting on couch stuffing my face. I would love to see more posts about the positive things that people are accomplishing...people go live!!!!
  4. I agree completely lifes tough shit happens stop whining!! It does nothing but help you feel sorry for yourself nothing more nothing less...pull the big girl panties up..be grateful for the help the lapband gives you and if I have offended any one suck it up butter cup cause I was told the same thing when I whined and I am grateful for those people who were straight forward with me. If you want progress work for it nothing comes with out hardwork...
  5. thrift stores are the way to go when it comes to clothes cause you are going to continue to lose so no point in spending too much for something you plan on only wearing a few months
  6. laughing so hard at work about this thread ya'll are awesome
  7. here is my lapband adventure. First and foremost everyones adventure will not be the same. I got band a few years ago and it was empty and I had only gotten one fill. Did not make much progress at all. Now everything I have read told me I needed to keep up on my fills...that was my fault. Now this year I got back on track got two fills and have lost 20 lbs. in two months! The lapband is a tool and the process is slow and steady if you follow the rules. Yes you will have stuck episodes if you eat too fast or too much I have learned this. Also big news...I learned scales suck....don t be a prisoner to your scale. Exercise is helping a lot...but not everyone has to exercise to lose...the ones that don t have to I am a bit jealous of But don t think this is a quick fix or your going to drop 50 lbs in a month or two... cause u will set yourself up to fail and then lose hope like I did. Get a year calendar one of those wall ones and track your progress on it no matter how slow it is. that way you will see progress in your journey. Good Luck and don t be your worst enemy be your own Cheerleader!! P.S. yes there are spelling mistakes and grammatical errors!! Get over it!
  8. it is a very long slow process.... that was the hardest thing for me to learn. Baby steps

  12. So my son was sick and had surgery and week before had a fill well needless to say I have been stressed out and throwing up daily. I can only hold down liquids but been constant problem the last two weeks. Put myself on liquids only but I am hoping someone can give me some advice pretty sure my esophagus is swollen...how long does it stay swollen???
  13. Thank you its driving me crazy cause I can not stop burping even tho only had liquids
  14. So since my son has been injured I gave been getting sick daily problem is I am not eating more than one cup....I think I have basically pissed off my area around where the lapband is and now I can not even get down anything more than liquids....not in an emergency situation at all just can not eat anything..I have put myself on broth and liquids only in hoping the area will heal I think its just swollen anyone else had this problem???
  15. lol yup downward not upward!!!
  16. yup no more shredded wheat for me either....I miss that one but oh well onward and upward
  17. yes I totally agree just to backslide because your stressed is undoing all your progress. I too am a stress eater...right now my son is injured and we are going to doctor after doctor to get it fixed...so since I am a stress eater I pack my lunch and ask my family for help in helping me to make the right choices...I know everyone does not have the wonderful support system I have but don t let it mess up your progress
  18. wow she is too thin, its unhealthy to be that thin.
  19. I thought it was stand on your head, chew gum and walk backwards...just kidding yeah I do believe everyone's journey is different.. and it seems these my way or no way people are also the biggest complainers as well.... I take everything with a grain of salt.
