  1. My BMI is 33. If anyone out there knows of any web sites that have before and after pictures, I would love to see them.
  2. I was looking forward to this appointment for over 2 years. It was 2 years ago I went through all the channels for the lapband surgery but doctor wouldn't do it because my BMI was too low. I had to commit to quit smoking, an appointment with a shrink, a dietician/ nutritionist, xrays and some labwork only downfall was it's almost positive insurance won't cover any of the cost due to the low BMI. So for me it's either out of pocket or stay feeling and looking miserable.
