I've battled with obesity for much of my life. I've tired diet after diet, and could lose then regain.  I was fortunate enough to be able to afford the surgery without having to go through insurance, where I'd been denied several times.  My insurance company will not cover it.  I'm just 5 months into my journey and I'm not as pleased with the outcome as I'd hoped, but I didn't realize just how much YOU/ME have to diet along with it for it to work.
