  1. I even bought a wig already! lol.. I have to find a salon that will cut it for me, though. I just don't know if I could get used to wearing one. It seems so HOT under that thing. And what if it falls off? I would be mortified.
  2. Yes! Mine were really itchy.

    Constipation

Magnesium pills help for this. They have been my savior in the past, but now I need extra help. I take a Magnesium and a Doucalax almost every day and still don't go every day.

    Psych Eval

My psych eval lasted less than a minute. I didn't even meet with someone. It was done over the phone. It was stupid.
  5. The bariatric advantage is the only one i've tried and it is nasty.
  6. My problem is I forget to drink. Before surgery, I would guzzle all day long. I love water! Thank God that I sill love it after surgery. So, since I forget to drink, I downloaded an interval timer and set it to beep every 5 minutes. I did this at work on Thursday and got in my water. After the first bottle (34 oz) I set the timer for every 15 minutes. I forgot to use it since Thursday though. It does work great at reminding you to sip.
  7. Ok, so I knew about the nasty drinkable shots, I thought she meant a needle shot. The ones you drink are SO DISGUSTING! It made me hurl.
  8. I hear ya! I don't think there is any pill or shot, but what a great idea! Have you tried the RTD Premier Protein? I wouldn't say it is wonderful, but it is ok. I have resorted to these because the powders make me want to vomit. They also have 30g of protein in each. I have also just learned about Power Pak pudding. It has 30g of protein in each pudding. I haven't tried them yet, but I will be getting some soon. If they are anything like the Stallone puddings from back in the day, I will like them.

    2 Months Out

awesome! I was sleeved on June 12th. so we are close to same date. I was just wondering how everyone who had surgery at that time is doing. How much jabber your lost before/after surgery? I feel like I am losing slow after surgery. I have lost 52 total. I think only 27.8 since surgery though.

    Cancun...and A Few Things

As far as the drain goes, just bring a lanyard that you can attach to the drain and hang it around your neck when you shower. Also it is a good idea to bring a large safety pin so you can pin the lanyard to your clothes. It doesn't hurt, just annoying. It is easy coming out too. Two days is nothing! You will do fine.
  12. I can't wait for that! I have a $100 gift card that I received for Mother's Day. I have saved this for when I undergrow my current clothes. Can't wait!

  20. I had 6 tiny incisions. I had the staples as well. They didn't hurt at all when removed.
  21. Here is something I made tonight.. it is so good! 1 lb ground beef - brown, drain throw in a 1/2 -1 sweet onion depending on taste 4 garlic cloves chopped keep cooking for about 5 minutes add: 2 cans of stewed tomatoes- I cut into at least 1/4s with kitchen shears. Just stir mixture and snip away as you lift up tomato pieces. 1 big can of kidney beans- juice and all 6 peppercinnis w/ juice from 1/2 the jar. I dice peppercinnis up really small and add seeds and all to pot. cook on med low for about 30 minutes or simmer until you want to eat it. I used to add corn to this but don't anymore. You won't miss the corn. You can add more/less peppercinis to adjust the spice of the dish. I love spice and would add more, but hubby isn't that crazy about super hot. This dish is really simple. I made it w/in 30 minutes. You can save even more time if you buy the onions already chopped. This really hits the "spot" when you are craving something and don't know what!
