  1. You only eat to be satisfied not to get full. Measure your food and only eat a half cup right now until you are used to it.
  2. Good for you. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  3. I would have tried something more manageable like fish or somethnig like that. I dont even remember eating fruit for about six months. I can't eat any skin of anything. You may want to rethink this lol
  4. Sorry to hear about this. But hopefully you will be recovered before Christmas
  5. Thats what happens when guys ask questions like that we all bum rush you together so now do you really want to know how we feel lol
  6. Well that is quite agressive for a fill from the beginning. I mean really my doctor put 5 ccs in to make sure the band inflated but then it was removed. I dont like agressive doctors they set you up to fail. Once you are filled you have nothing to work with. I wouldnt let him do that again. Go slow.
  7. Well as you can see it's a touchy subject lol
  8. Yes hang in there. You will get it done. I would keep calling them. I dont stop til they do what they are supposed to do.
  9. Yes drinking every couple of minutes helps you to keep it going.
  10. No why should I give everything away and get nothing in return. You know that saying why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free. Especially now in this day in time with 1 in 7 adults being HIV positive and 1 in 4 having STD's hell to the no. No way not even with three condoms on his you know what.
  11. I dont know what wicking means but I wear spanx and they are very comfortable and hold you in well
  12. Have you talked to your doctor?
  13. I work on a surgical floor and we dont make people take wedding rings off. Only piercings and other jewelry. Its more common then you think for them to be covered up with bandaids.
  14. I say as long as you can stuff it in some garments its all good. Your stomach is probably still having some gas. It seems to happen a lot. Hang in there.
  15. Maybe if you up your protein to about 90 grams that might help. I think your getting too little protein in at this point.
  16. You can take tuna or chicken salad. I love ocean cafe crab cakes. I would make sure you pack lunch the night before. Egg salad is good too. I am pretty much a vegan so I cant help much with meat choices.
  17. Yes you are still stiched they just put it as a preventative
  18. No the steri strips will stay on fairly well until they fall off themselves
  19. Not sure if anyone could or should answer this question. You are better off checking with your surgeon.
  20. Some people are allowed to drink regular coffee. I was told never but that is my surgeon and they are all different. I would call and ask them.
  21. and good luck on your decision
  22. No my port does not show through my skin. I can feel it but I think you would have to become rail thin to even have it stick out that much. None of my fills ever hurt. More pressure then anything. Yes I think it will help for a lifetime I have only had two fills in three years Yes I lost some hair and still do three years post op but its nothing you can physically see. The only issue I have had is not being able to eat or tolerate meat. I have become a vegan but its all good I dont mind being a vegan
