  1. I never spent a lot of money on bras as I was losing. I would go buy cheap ones from walmart until now. I love Lane Bryants bras they are very supportive.
  2. Protein shakes are just liquid calories that do not keep you full. After you start eating regular food there is no need for shakes. Even at breakfast with a tight band you can manage some greek yogurt. The only time I would drink shakes is after a fill when I had to depend on liquids for the first 24 hours. Other then that heck no to the shakes.
  3. Getting mine out dec 11th its out patient nothing to worry about. 40% of weight loss surgery pts end up with gallbladder issues due to rspid weight loss you will be fine
  4. I seriously dont see why she cares who post in the threads. Start your own! Who cares who hogs up the threads you don't have to read it. Seriously you think that people care that we/you/they hog up the threads? Such a sad life you must have Rikimom.
  5. Never put peroxide on an open wound. In past years its what we used. Now they know it breaks down body tissue. Does not help with anything. Clean something with it lol
  6. I lost over Thanksgiving. Didn't eat all that crap. Was happy about my decision.
  7. I go with prime rib if I want beef. It is usually more doable then steak.
  8. 174 this morning. Im under my goal whoop whoop
  9. You have to be mentally ready for this. Go read my blog Real Talk from a Veteran bander. Get yourself back on track by not eating junk. Make a conscience effort to put good healthy food in your mouth. You spent the money so dont waste it.
  10. There will be days like this. You have to just try to do other things to keep yourself occupied. Clean, drink lots of water. Go walk, brush your teeth ( yes that helps with hunger) start exercising.
  11. It will get better. I promise. One day you will just not feel it. Congrats on your new life.
  12. Congrats. Im three years out and happy to answer any questions you might have.
  13. Stahls are normal. They happen. You just got to keep on keeping on.
  14. Numbness after any surgery is normal. They cut nerves and they will regenerate. I wouldnt worry unless it never goes away.
  15. I would say dont smoke from now til surgery. I didnt smoke for a whole week before because I was scared about being put under and smoking. I quit two and half years ago after I was six months post op. I would not smoke before surgery
  16. Stay home as in work or just going out? Going out can be immediate if you can tolerate it. I drove at two days post op and was allowed to.
  17. Then something is wrong. I bet it has slipped. I would go back and tell them that something is definitely wrong.
  18. I am sure you are still very swollen and with added fluid that doesnt help. Call your doctor and tell them you are having trouble getting in fluids. If your getting that full then cut the amount in half that you are eating. It will get better but check with the doctor anyway.
