    When swallowing tablets of medicine?

I had to take very large 'horse pills' immediately after my surgery due to a reaction from the blood pressure cuff. They told me it was fine to swallow them and to definitely not crush them. I was also told by the surgery center that any pill the size of your pinky fingernail was fine to swallow.

    What did your breast's do?

I went from a Lane Bryant size 42DDD to a Victoria's Secret size 34DD. I'm way smaller than I was look a little 'deflated' but I'm totally ok with that. Love wearing cute bras and panties from VS:)
  4. I'm thrilled to be able to wear a bikini. I've lost 115 lbs and feel pretty confident. I do have some wrinkles (sagging skin) but I'm loving how I look these days. Surgery was the best decision I've ever made:)
  5. These are some pics of my journey with some before and during photos. I've lost another 15-20 lbs since the middle photo was taken. I'm down a total of 115 lbs since Feb. 2015.
  6. What a great post! I'm absolutely thrilled for you. Such wonderful success. Congratulations!!

    No Wonder I Wasn’t Skinny!

We had potatoes with every meal. Mashed or just boiled for dinner (with real butter) - fried for lunch and breakfast. We ate toast and jam for snacks - sometimes twice a day and almost always before bed. Pop & chips every Friday night. Pie was common dessert or some type of homemade pudding made with whole milk. Sugary cereals were popular for weekday breakfasts in our house. I've had to relearn everything.
  8. I had bypass and a hernia repair. I had very little pain and the hernia repair wasn't noticeable at all in terms of pain.

    Clothing size

I started at size 22 and 296 lbs. I lost 40 lbs pre op and was wearing size 18. Since surgery 3 mos ago, I've lost another 50lbs (206 lbs) and am wearing 14/16 clothes from regular stores.
  10. I weigh myself everyday at the same time. My scale records my weight onto an app so I can see the graph of my weight loss over time. I started weighing myself during my med sup. weight loss and I really enjoy looking back at all the progressive made.

    How about some NSVs!?!?

I went to the gym and wasn't ashamed to undress and redress in the locker room for the first time ever. Oh- and I can almost wrap the gym towel all around me:)

Anthem Blue Cross - do you know?

I had to do 3 months of supervised weight loss. The length of time wasn't specified in my policy and my surgeon's office wanted to put me on 6 mos of med. supervised wl. I was rather upset by the delay and they then decided they would try 3 mos and submit to insurance and see if it would be approved. It was. I was delighted.

true confessions; how I invaded the "mens room"

I did that once in a pool changing room - while 8 months pregnant. There is no pretending to be a male while wearing a swimsuit. I was probably the most mortified I've ever been when a man came in and me why i was there.

    Best scale

We have a withings scale. I love the app that goes with it for tracking my weight, heart rate & food intake.

    Need a quick answer.

I lost 20 pounds in my first month. 40 before surgery so I'm at 60 total now:)
