Ok. yall.. Im down a total of 34 pounds. Apparently the doctors scale likes me more than my scale at home..I got first fill it was 3 cc. Definitely feel the difference. My goal is to lose a total of 50 lbs. by my bday, October 22....Just feeling awesome right now..

Thanks I shall..Yeah I have seen people write that they lost like 20-30 lbs first month..well maybe two...I definitly see the change.I feel and look better in my clothes..I can't wait for my first fill I'm starting to get hungry now..lol..

I will try..i was wrighing myself everyday but had to stop that i was getting obsessed..lol..the first month how much did u lose n did u experience "band hell"

Hello...I just got my band on Tuesday..I am healing pretty quickly and can now start the full liquyids. Just drank some protien shake, whnich was delisious..scoop of Peanut Butter (natural) 2 scoops Protein...ice..skim milk..I was reading your post about the snaking. I am really so full now..I had chiobani yogurt, which has 14 grams of protein but 20g of carbs and like 5 tablespoons of some Soup and half the shake...Would u recommend just having the shake at different times of the day at this stage of my diet?

Here in the pre op room...found out i lost 13 lbs. Frm two weeks ago...wow!! I dont feel 13 lbs lighter at all!!! Wow just ready to get it started...if i dont make it out i wany to say i love my family n friends....i think i will be ok but still need to put that out there....im still thirsty..lol n crazy hungry....ok will post when im done.

I couldn 't sleep much last night. I may have gotten about 2 or 4 hours of sleep.. Very very thirsty, but no water before surgery...Just finished walking dogs with my Dad around the block and took a showe..downstairs just wanting to get this over with...Im very thirsty though!!! uuggghhh..Im gonna take some pre pictures on my cell phone. I was going to get a camcorder but Ill wait unitl I have lost 20 lbs. I am going to reward myself for each mini goal...Well I will check in right before the surgery and after....

I had same feeling..im sitting in hospital right now...my surgery is in abiut 1.5 hours.....very nervous..i am thirsty as all gell!!! Lol -

So my parents are on their way to help me from NC...I am kinda nervous and excited. I am ready for this new life to begin..I have done lots of research and bloging and chatting with other patients. I'm a bit hungry right now..been doing clear liquids for two days before surgery...Im going to clean out my pantry when the folks get here!!! Wow, everyone has said it gets them a new perspective on life..I am ready to reach this new thinking..I have closed some doors from the past..one door is half way shut, hopefully this tool can help me lose weight and lose negative baggage!! Wow wish me luck!!!

lol...thanks...I have not done so hot on the pre op diet though..Was doing some research people say that they did a cleasae before the surgery..i think I am going to do that tnite..

Hi, I am having my surgery on Tuesday. How did you do with the pre-op diet? Also, how did you ask to have your bowels opened? Have you experienced any dumping feelings. . . Thanks for anything you can provide..Im getting kind of nervous. Im doing my grocery shopping tommorow.....how has your family been? -
