  1. I had to have hernia repair surgery with my band too and after 6 days I'm finding the swelling of my stomach still quite hard to get liquids down. I'm just taking it slow and trying to sip as much as possible. I haven't taken any pain medicine in about 2 days, but I'm still a bit nauseous. I hope you are feeling better each day, and I'm glad that I have someone to talk to with a similar surgery now
