Congrats!!!!

I need some pick me up peeps! I feel sooooo bummed! I was at the doctors yesterday for some other issues and discussed a chest x ray result and found out that I have atherosclerosis. I know it's from being obese for over a decade and not eating right and not exercising. OBESITY KILLS! Even the lite weights as I've been told I was...I never thought I was. I never had high blood pressure, diabetes, but I did however have elevated cholesterol levels, but because my good levels were always high they would always say that I was fine (ugh). So alas, with genetics, obesity and lack of exercise it's come to this (SIGH) Well THANK GOD I'm no longer obese,I have a normal BMI. I had already determined this was the year of exercise for me And if this doesn't kick my butt off the couch I don't know what else will!!! I am 44 yrs old and if I had not lost this weight I don't know how long I would have lasted. I am SOOOO THANKFUL to God for allowing me to have the sleeve which saved my life!!!!!

Girrrrrl I could only do that for a few days BLAH!!!!!! And for some reason it really made my urine smell really bad too LOL!

I love the parrot picture! We have one in the neighborhood and he screams like someone is killing him LOL! Thank God he's far away where I don't have to hear it everyday LOL!

This is truly inspiring...I pray I can one day run a marathon...sniff, sniff. I'm more of a jogger, fast walker, but never a runner. My next feat is the 8K.

I get pain because I eat too fast (super bad habit, hard to break), BUT with that said IF I eat slow and stop, I'm good, just feel full.

Definitely! Thank God tomorrow is a NEW day!!!!!!!!!! Start fresh. Try to journal everything you put in your mouth and make sure you are getting in protein first. Best wishes!

Congrats sweets!

I was told that allllllll the time. I was always told why? your a lite weight, you don't need this! blah, blah, blah...obesity kills period! And it will catch up sooner or later. I was obese over a decade and just found out after losing all my weight and now having a normal BMI that I have atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). It's not about how one looks or what size one is, it's about our health, and what fat does to the body. Maybe you can tell them that!
