  1. Finding a Lap Band Doctor

    I want to get the Lap-Band and had one Doctor on line check with my insurance to confirm my coverage. The problem is my insurance will only cover up to 80% and I pay the 20%. I don’t have the money or want to pay the 20%. In addition the hospital wants me to pay for my first consolation in addition to my $20.00 co-pay $15.00 for a filing service and 1080.00 for some type of consultation service with $200.00 up front. and the reminder of the fees when completed. I don’t have the approximant $4600.00 additional out of pocket monies. Does anyone know of a different solution? Possibly a doctor who will take the 80% as payment in full?
