  1. it seems that, the idea is to get most of ur weight off within the first year... I've got a total of about 65 lbs to lose and a bmi of 37... So I am hoping that when I do get banded, I can lose the weight within a year(while exercising) and I'm also hoping to have the band removed in 3 yrs... Any way anything I lose will be healthier than what I am now...
  2. I have a bmi of 37, and I am scheduled to have a pulmonology consult this week because I snore so they want to see if I have sleep apnea. I don't think I have any other co morbidities. I might have high cholesterol but i was told that high cholesterol is not enough to get insurance to cover it. I have fidelis care of NY and I was told they do cover the surgery with 1 comorbidty... Anyway my question is, Does anyone know what to expect from fidelis care ny?? Thanks
