Just diagnosed with severe sleep apnea...
Thanks Pixie for asking the question. I was diagnosed an hour ago. 108 is my number. All these years I thought it was allergies. The bad news is that sleep apnea is linked to heart disease. (I will for sure use the CPAP whether I like it or not.) The good news is that now my insurance will cover the sleeve! Good luck with your fitting.

eggface's awesome recipes
I just googled "recipe builder" and sparkspeople has a "recipe calculator" where you can type in a recipe and get the nutritional content. I remember using a similar feature on the Weight Watchers paid website. Hope it helps.

Scar tissue and the sleeve
Hmm I had bad adhesions during my hysterectomy as well. I was also told they were among the worst they had seen! I haven't had anything removed around the abdomen though. I wish I would have thought to ask during the orientation, but it didn't even cross my mind! I will be sure to ask before I go any further on this process. You might want to do the same. Best wishes! P.S. Just curious, do you happen to have hypertrophic scars? I do. (People refer to them as keloids, but they are not the same.)

Wow she is great and so are you for thanking her! Woo hoo!!! I am pre-op and have already thanked my husband for going to the orientation with me and not fussing over having to self pay if need be. I was going to do it anyway, but I feel lucky and relieved. Thank her often Joe!!!!
