What a day to start the begining of this journey this new life for me. The birthday of this great nation. I hope that it is a sign of good things to come. I know that this is going to be probably one of the hardest things that I will do, but I know that I have to do this. Today I start my liquid diet for 2 weeks. I have read so many of the posts, and you all are very encouraging. I wish each and every one of you a great 4th of July!!!

Thank you everyone, You have certainly eased my nerves. I have received my surgery date and it is July 18th, now I have to just get through the 2 week liquid diet. Thanks to all that have responded. -
I still have not got my surgery date yet, but I was wondering if anyone has any adverse side effects? And how much time did you have to take off of work once you had the surgery?
