What a day to start the begining of this journey this new life for me. The birthday of this great nation. I hope that it is a sign of good things to come. I know that this is going to be probably one of the hardest things that I will do, but I know that I have to do this. Today I start my liquid diet for 2 weeks. I have read so many of the posts, and you all are very encouraging. I wish each and every one of you a great 4th of July!!!

I still have not got my surgery date yet, but I was wondering if anyone has any adverse side effects? And how much time did you have to take off of work once you had the surgery?

Thank you everyone, You have certainly eased my nerves. I have received my surgery date and it is July 18th, now I have to just get through the 2 week liquid diet. Thanks to all that have responded.
