Huge win for me last night!

@ i'm happy that YOU are happy you dealt with your stricture with a great attitude good thoughts, optimism can help in your recovery sure couldn't hurt LOL glad you are finally able to eat a little more solids (chicken ie) you must have accidentally forgot to send me an invitation to your chicken barbecue that's ok, but please don't forget me next time day by day feel better pre & post op down 130 lbs keep up the good job for the rest of your healthier, happier, longer life good luck kathy congrats
  12. @@roguegambit hey smartie you hit the nail right on the head!! most people (me and others) don't feel any restriction through the liquid phase (or when you drink Water in general later) i never had problems drinking either i was told not to gulp til my NUT officially told me it was ok for me, sipping Protein shakes DID make me more full (then plain ol' water) as you gradually start puree's, soft foods you will feel more restriction when you start solids - you should definitely start to feel the restriction in your new little tummy don't worry now you'll possibly have plenty to worry about later good luck newbie kathy

    Band > Sleeve now what?

@@Debaria YES !!!!! LOL lapband eroded conversion to sleeve was a great move BUT - NO WLS will be successful if you don't follow all the rules we have learned many things that we must follow having a 3rd surgery isn't the solution (IMO) sounds like you need to be helped/reminded with the rules mentioned retaught and relearn to help you ask any and all questions we are here to help you get back in step with program one foot in front of the other,. one day at a time i can feel it my bones, you will be a success "DO or Do NOT, there is NO Try" Yoda best of luck kathy

  15. @@aron how awful bad enough to gain weight because you are over eating, not eating well etc but when you are taking meds that make you gain too?? horrible - no control over meds you must take are you still gaining weight? or was it just those couple of years at the beginning? can your doc research your problem with that medicine/pill? hopefully he can find something comparable that won't have weight gain as a side effect my 13 year old grand-son was diagnosed with ADD a couple of years ago he ballooned up from head to toe with his weight gain doc took him off that med - changed it to something comparable!! new med did the trick for his ADD weight came off gradually in a few months (probably less then 70 lbs) you must continue to work with the sleeve/WLS for the rest of your life eat in moderation, lots of Water, eat slowly, plenty of Protein etc remember, "I'm watching you" I "THINK" you should/will lose weight with the sleeve but due to the med, will the weight stay off?? doc can advice you more than i can (i'm not a professional med person!!) whatever your health issue is "maybe" it will lesson with weight loss/sleeve tough decision surgery or not hope to see you in sleeveland good luck kathy
