thank you so much i am feeling better each day, i am a baby when it comes to pain, but now i am almost totally off my pain med. still taking is slow but i was able to lay on my side last night which is my normal position when layin gin bed nad let me tell you i felt like singing a hallelujia chorus!!! I was so happy to just lay comfortable. it is getting better, slowly. we shall see in a week or so how i am.

So I planned and everything but I am feeling overwhelmed. I can't seem to keep enough liquids down to get rid of this headache, and concentrated urine. I was on oxygen in the hospital I have sleep appnea and am thinking I should be back on the oxygen. I can't sleep with my sleep appnea mask on and i have been sleeping with it for over a year now. My anxiety is through the roof over the not getting anough fluids. i think it is just all hitting me the changes. i have the nurses number and he has had surgery too so he is great. i will call him tomorrow. for tonight i just can't sleep. I haven't had my depression meds in 3 days need to chop them up and take them. i will do it tomorrow. for tonight i am just trying to relax. I can do this. I have all the drinks here and a care package from my nurse. i just need to keep water in me. i can do this, this is the worst part so i can make it.

I am using Dr ganta in austin texas and the procedure will be done at north austin medical center. I am scheduled for june 21st 2011 1 week and counting.

So I am 31 and having the sleeve surgery on june 21st, i am kind of overwhelmed the closer it gets because it is just a huge change and I don't do change very well but I don't question whether I should do it or not. Just me freaking a little. I have been overweight all my life. Ever since I was a child. I have never been a healthy weight ever. I have managed to lose sometimes but never maintain it. I feel like my weight is out fo control I am up to 300 pounds and not slowing down. Had all kinds of tests done to make sure it wasn't my thyroid and all that and no it is just my stressful life style pure and simple. I can't make the changes on my own I need some help and intervention. So I am here and ready for my surgery it will be a reliefe to not be able to be bad. I am so excited about losing weight and making the necessary changes and learning how to eat all over again. at any rate this is going to be a long hard road and I know that and I am sure it will be frought with break downs and crying and joyous times. So all I can say right now is let's roll...

Hi there I am a newbie too 1 week away from my surgery on june 21st, adn i am in texas, in austin Dr Ganta is doing mine from austin institute of barriatric and laproscopy or AIBL. I have my psych eval on wed next week. I had to take a indepth one for my job and all i had to do was take a test that asked me 100 questions and they were all teh same question just worded differently to see if you would flip flop i figure it can't be that bad.
