  1. Happy 42nd Birthday Marise11!

  2. I got my second fill today, gained a little back. Just down 5lbs now. I'm really hoping that I feel some restriction soon. Has your weight loss picked up or stayed the same?? Hope all is well.

  3. I had my second fill a week ago. Down another 2 pounds this week. Still working to get to my "sweet spot". I think I might actually be filled too much right now. I'm having problems getting my protein down, getting stuck.
  4. How are you feeling? Is post op treating you well?

  5. It's so hard when the weight loss is slow. I know it isn't suppose to happen fast but I expected a little more than what is happening. I am happy to hear you're losing even if its 2.6 lbs. Since I wrote you I've lost nothing but I also haven't had a fill yet. My first fill is August 11th and I am really hoping to see some results because as hard as I'm trying not to, I'm getting a little down.

  6. Between my first fill and second fill I lost 1.6 pounds. Not very impressive, however my nurse said that until I'm filled to my sweet spot, any weight loss is good. I've lost another pound since my fill last Wednesday. How are you doing?

  7. I read your post about losing 10lbs in the first two weeks then weight stopped. Mine has also, just curious if after your first fill if your weight loss started back up? Hope so!

    July 2011 Bandsters!

Excellent!! I was banded in June. I lost 10 pounds the first two weeks after surgery. I haven't lost a pound since. My first fill is next Thursday. I'm eating real food now, but often have pain - like the food is stuck. I'm worried that the pain will get even worse after my first fill. I was expecting more of a "full" feeling rather than straight out pain when eating. Is the pain due to recovery from surgery or is this what having a Band is about?
  9. I am also having the same types of pain, banded on the 8th. I don't even want to drink anything, when I do it feels like there is a big air bubble keeping the liquid from going down. Today is Sunday, I'll call my doctor Monday morning. Hopefully this isn't how I'm going to feel forever.
