This is my first night at home, and I am having a little trouble. I am wearing the girdle, and I am a little short of breath. But only if I sit a certain way. I am on a liquid/jello diet, and I am having trouble determining when I am full because I am still trying to get the anesthesia out of my body so I'm dizzy. I am taking it slow though, so I haven't thrown up. Also, I am a side sleeper and I cannot lay on my side due to the surgery and can't seem to get comfortable. I just need some tips, words of encouragement and I want to know the pain will end!!!

Haha! Thats funny and it's tomorrow at 3:15. I'm really nervous and I wish my husband was going with me!

What questions did you ask on your first appointment? I haven't had the surgery, but I was wondering if there are any key points I should hit. I have a few in mind regard recovery, pre-op diet and a timeline. I am really nervous!!!

I'm meeting mine in a little over a week too and I am feeling the same way! I just wish I could see into the future to know how it'll change my life! But I'm definitely hoping that he is a good doctor. Good luck to you! -
I would love someone to talk to
I'm at 0 restriction right now and I usually can't eat until mid afternoon. There are days that I can't eat at all, even in the afternoon or at night. Have you had your surgery yet? -
Hi Cait... I know it sounds mellodramatic, but yes.. the rest of my life. I'm 25 and I just honestly don't see myself being able to live my life with all of the issues I'm having. I really hope something can be done and that I'll be able to keep my band and make it work. I read all of the success stories on this site, and it makes me hopeful

I have my first appointment on June 7th and I am going to (hopefully) be getting the surgery before my husband goes overseas at the end of the year. I'm ready to be happy and healthy and make friends!
