  1. Well, feeling good 10 days into it. Healing at an amazing rate. Only thing that 'hurts' is the port area and gas up in the left shoulder region. Looking forward to switching to puree tomorrow. Got the okay to start driving. Good luck to everyone!

    Banded on May 19th

Hi, I was banded on the 11th. First time surgery ever. It went seamlessly. Saw the Dr today for the first Post-op visit. Incisions look perfect. Pain is from the port and Gas. The gas is from the inflation of your abdominal cavity for the procedure. It provides a space to make the procedure easier. It can take up to a few weeks. Others I've heard say a couple. I still have the pains, which seem to mostly migrate to my left shoulder and back. Hope this helps. Bob
  4. Best Lapband Dr in South Jersey.....Dr Adam Goldstein! Just had my band done on the 11th. I had pain for about 36 hrs. after that I feel great. Not taking any chances but OMG! My recovery time has been incredibly quick. Not bad for my first surgery ever, I'm execited as I am now headed into day 9, Only 2 more days on Liquids, start on Puree Saturday!
