I have considered some type of WLS for many, many years, but always convinced myself I would lose the weight on my own. No such luck. I just continue to get bigger and bigger. My joints ache, I have no stamina, I get short of breath just walking through the house,I am ashamed to go out in public, I am embarrassed for my children to be seen with me, I have numerous health conditions as a direct result of my weight, and most days, I want to bury myself in a hole and never get out. I am beginning this journey of pursuing lap banding. I have a gazillion questions, fears, etc..
