  2. So I have tried to go back on track. I’ve started using MFP again and planning what I eat. Drinking more water and getting more than 70 grams of protein. Down 1.5 pounds ?
  3. How’s it going now? Any updates? I’m up 47 pounds since 2011 and I need some inspiration

  5. I am almost 10 years since the day I was sleeved. I weighed 278 pounds when I had my surgery. I got down to 173 pounds and now I am back up to 220 pounds. I am feeling like a failure. I am terrified of putting all of the weight back on. How are others doing this better? How can I get some of this weight back off? If you are continuing to lose weight what are your daily macros? I’m not even sure if I have restriction anymore. Is there a way to find out? I started drinking sodas probably a year after I was sleeved. Have I ruined it for good? Is anyone else in the same boat? I’d love to have some help and support.

  7. Charlotte how are you doing now that you started over?
  8. So this is my first post back since 2013. I was sleeved in 2011. I weighed 278. I lost 105 pounds and got to 173. Fast forward to today and I am now 220! I am ashamed I have gained back 47 pounds. I was happy around 185-190 and I’d like to get back there. How have you been doing? Anything working?
  9. Hey Libby! I'm still around and down 95 pounds but have been acting like a back-slider lately. It's been almost 2 months since I lost any weight and the fact is, I'm not really trying anymore. Does that suck? I'm really happy with my weight loss, I just wish I could get my emotional issues with food under control. There isn't a support group in my area so I hang out on this site and myfitnesspal for connections. I've never regretted my surgery and I do a lot more now than I ever did. My life has changed for the better 100% and I praise God I was able to get the sleeve. Now if God and I can just work on those emotional over-eating issues.
  10. Hi everyone. Just wanted to check in and let you know that y'all were right. Water weight gain. By Tuesday I was back down the whole 7 pounds. I just had to drink more water and watch my sodium intake. Thanks everyone
  11. Ok... I meant to include AliceinWonder in my last post but I screwed it up. Sorry Alice! And thank you for your input.
  12. Beautifulnewme- wow! 8 pounds is crazy. Looking at my foods on mfp, I can see the sodium has gotten kind of high recently. I'll try to get that down as much as possible. Good idea. I did not know Water could make an 8 pound difference. hm734- your question did not really upset me, I'm just frustrated with the whole situation. I did not mean to come across harsh, I've drank 80 oz of water today, I'll let y'all know if I'm in the bathroom all night
  13. hmr734- Im not a doctor or nut and I guess everyone is different. I can't imagine eating 1400-1600 calories a day and gain so much weight that I need wls. With tests, my doctors have determined my bmr is 1510. That's the amount I need to eat (at least) to maintain. So for me, if I ate 1600 calories I would not gain. My doctor is fine with 1600 a day for maintenance. I think everyone is missing the point. I was trying to ask what to do about water weight and bloating. Even if people think 2000 a day is a lot of calories, mathematically, it only equals 500 calories over my bmr, so in 7 days I MIGHT have gained a pound. I could not have gained 7 pounds in 5 days. It's frustrating.
  14. I'm almost certain it's water weight but I don't know what to do about it. Doc said no water pills. I'm not constipated but Im not "going" either. I'm soo bloated. No other health problems that I'm aware of. I know 1800 sounds high but it's not high enough to gain 7 pounds in 5 days and I still exercise every day.
  15. Yesterday was the last day of TOM
  16. I do not have my gallbladder. Does that matter?
  17. I've gained 7 pounds in 5 days. I'm feeling awful. I don't understand how this could possibly happen. I know I have to eat 3500 calories in addition to those I burn to gain a pound. I am NOT eating enough to gain 7 pounds. I'm bloated and feeling miserable. I track my food on myfitnesspal and yes I eat sweets occasionally but 7 pounds???!!!! Normally I eat 1800-2300 calories per day. Any thoughts? Oh, I don't know if it's related but in addition to being bloated, I'm burping.
