  1. Hello Bandsters, I am new to the forum, however; I did get the lapband with Dr. Almanza-Reyes at Jerusalem Hospital 5/27/2011. So far so good. Everything went smoothly. My sister came along with me and they treated her like she was a QUEEN. The staff was awesome. The facility was small ..., but the first week of July 2011 they will be closing down for renovations to expand the hospital. I have not experienced any complications thus far. They truely laid out the red carpet!
