  2. Hi All. I'm in quite bit of discomfort as a write this so please excuse the lack of details. I had my banding done last thursday april28. Today I'm experiencing sharp stabbing pains on my left side and belly button. I was on clear liquids days 1-4. days 5 and 6 full liquids next really soft blended food. Still liquidty. I've been tolerating the food pretty good. liquids at first was the hardest to keep down, but now no trouble with that either. I haven't had a bowl movement since the surgery,so after calling my doc office like 3 x's I decided to take a capful of mirolax with oj on my own. I also took a few table spoons of anti-gas med which is giving me some relief. So I'm hoping the pain is just gas,but I can't be sure. could some one help me out with some ideas or if they've experienced anything similar. I'm pretty sure the nurses have not told the doc that i've called so when i call back i'm sure I wont be as polite.I admit I haven't been doing a lot of moving around. I was under so much stress leading up to the surgery that all I've been able to do is sleep and rest. Its been so long since i've done that. but now I'm ready to move around and cant because of the discomfort in my stomach.
