I had my surgery on March 1 and I have lost 30 lbs. I had a wonderful doctor at Eisenhower Medical Center at Ft Gordon and got great care in the hospital. HOw are you doing?

I went to Eisenhower yesterday and saw Dr Choi. He wanted to do my surgery on Dec 14. I am going out of town on the 19 Dec to spend Christmas with my daughter in Atlanta so I had to turn it down. I am dissapointed because I wanted to have it and get it over with but I will have to wait till the end of January now. Patience is a virtue.

I am going to Eisenhower Hospital too. I have talked with you on their forum, support group online. How are you doing?

My Mom had young jeans. LOL. Where are you from and where did you have your surgery? I have two granddaughters and they live in Atlanta. I am visiting them now. I live 15 miles outside of Augusta Ga. I use to crochet and make all kinds of crafts, but I o nly sew now. My sign in name is what I testify that I am blessed. The number three means trinity in the bible.

You don't look 57 what is the secret. Me I am 61. I have 6 grandkids. 4 live 22 mins. from us. I too am retired and love to keep my hands busy with crocheting, sewing crafts and making cards. Tell me about your name imblessed333? I like it. Be safe!

Wow you have lost alot of lbs in a short time . I would be happy with results like that too. I hope I will be happy with small portions too. Congratulations on your successful surgery and its results.

I had my first education class in December of 2009. We go away for the month of January and did my next class on VSG in March. I had my doctor visit in April and had to loose 20 lbs before I had surgery in Oct. I did it very slowly but did it. I look forward to being in size 12's or so.. I am 4-11 and ready for health. Going up and down stairs has been a chore. It has gotten easier. ...

I don't have a surgery date yet. I go in to see Dr Choi on November 8 and I hope I will get a date then. I started this in May 2010.

When did you have pre-op? I was wondering the time frame from pre-op to your surgery on Oct 6? Thanks for the post.

I'm blessed too!!! Had my surgery Oct 6 and from pre and post op I am down 34 lbs. I am very happy with the results and I am not missing eating large portions. A taste of food is what I get and I am happy with that. When do you have your surgery. Be safe.
