I loved hearing my girl friend's external voice as she was walking out of my house. She had her head down and stated, "I can't handle you skinniness!." This just made me smile. And yes, I do love my skinniness.

Oh, girl, I understand! While I don't have real trouble maintaining, I have issues with the fact that I CANNOT seem to get any smaller, no matter how hard I try. Just hang in there, coops! You look amazing and have come so far. Every time I see a newbie with a vent about slow loss (that usually isn't so slow at all) I think of you and thinoneday...two ladies that have had long, slow journeys.
You will get to goal!! Be positive and don't give up or slack off too much and you will get there. It's tough to drop those last few pounds. Our bodies simply do not want to give them up without an ugly fight.
And thanks for the inspirational OP, Sassygirl - I lost in a similar pattern of stops and starts the whole time. In a typical month all of my loss occurred in a five or six day period after being stuck (or seeing a three pound gain) for the rest of the month.

I was called a "skinny b*tch" by a girlfriend (who knows I've been sleeved) and it made my day too! (Because it was all in fun, but I have NEVER been called that my whole life!)

I am sure many of you that are further along on our journey have had a friend or family member call you "skinny" as a sweet compliment to your weight loss. It has happened to me a couple of times over the past year. Well, I knew I was far from it still but I just smiled and said "Thank you".
Well, yesterday morning on the way to church, I was riding in the back seat with my 4 yr old (not normal) and commented how much room there was back there now. My son, as with most kids at this age, is brutally honest. He stated that I fit so well because I was SKINNY.
Skinny? Me? Really? Wow, it is so awesome that my son sees me like that way. I am not the fat mom any more. Yay!!

Down a little more this week. Slow but still down and I had an awesome NSV this week. I was doing some much needed clothes shopping for an upcoming business trip and found a shirt I loved but no large. So, on a total whim, I tried on the medium... IT FIT!!

So, this morning (my official weekly weigh-in) the scale said 199.4. Wow, it's amazing to see that in print. This is such an amazing journey.
And... over the weekend, I took my son to Disney World. I was able to easily fit AND get out of all the rides. At the end of each day, I still had energy to burn. This was so much different from times before when I could barely make it back to the hotel.
The best NSV was at the playground at the Animal Kingdom. I climbed right up the nets and across the rope bridges. I would have never done this before. Then I went right down the enclosed curly slides and I fit NO PROBLEM.
But, the absolute best NSV happened when I got to the bottom of the slide. A women who was waiting on her child at the bottom of the slide said "Oh, you are such a good mom climbing up and going through those things." I just wanted to tell her that she didn't know the half of it. I just wanted to blurt my whole story out but I just smiled and nodded. I was just so happy to be able to do it.

When a regular sized bath towel wraps around you WITHOUT any gaps! That has to be the best feeling. I realized this last night when I got out of the shower.
I even wrapped it past the gap about 7 or 8 inches. HOW FREAKING AMAZING!!!
