Sex after the sleeve...
Have only had it once and I was on top so nothing hurt. My SO is a foot taller than me and a beefy guy so no matter what size I am he is smushing me if he puts his full weight on me so he doesn't do it.

Where are my 5ft tall peeps at?
Well you are a foot taller than many of us! Don't forget that.

Surgery, “it’s the easy way.”
Because some people need to make others feel bad because they are miserable. ALSO we have made weight and weightloss some moral thing where if you just have the willpower you can lose the weight, WHY WON'T YOU STOP EATING ALREADY?!!! despite tons of science and research stating that it isn't that simple for most people to lose weight and KEEP IT OFF. Stop discussing your plans with that person or anyone else who is anything less than supportive and respectful.

Know it all family members....
You don't need to explain yourself to her or anyone else, so stop. Living well is the best revenge.

Favorite things you can do now that you couldn't before, or things you're looking forward to doing?
Well maybe they should have thought, hm, perhaps this is an opportunity for us to expand our reach and attract an audience (and their dollars!) that really wants high-end well-tailored attractive fashionable clothes, rather than turning their noses up at you.

Drinking liquids after surgery
The sipping? Am pretty sure no because I am drinking like a regular person now. Just in the early days. And yes, you will always have to space out food and drink (I get to start solid food on Tuesday so haven't had to negotiate all of this yet).

Getting back to Work

Wear a bikini. Even when I had a bikini body I was too shy. When I get back there this time I AM WEARING THE DANGGONE BIKINI!! Get back into all of my high heel shoes. Wear slutty dresses Sky dive. I promised my mom we would (she really wanted to, I was scared!) and she passed away three months later, and I want to do it in her honor. Get a breast lift, tummy tuck and butt contouring One thing I am glad that's over is getting up and having all these aches and pains in my legs and feet because I was carrying too much weight. My left ankle isn't on perm swole status anymore AND I have ankles again, not cankles!

Drinking liquids after surgery
OH! I also added sugarfree jello this week. I put Unjury protein powder in that, too.

Drinking liquids after surgery
My surgeon has us sip 1 ounce of liquid over 15 mins in the first few days. I am still on liquids (the end is near!!!!) and what I have been doing starting in the hospital is protein drinks, Gatorade, broth (I put Unjury protein powders in my broth) and water. Earlier this week I added decaf coffee (I have always drank decaf). I have been able to drink pretty normally (not gulp but regular sips) for some time now. More importantly, if you follow the directions your surgeon gives you, things will be fine.

I have 38 DDD boobs but when I was smaller I had nothing. My SO was talking about how big they are the other day and I said kiss 'em now cause this may be the last days of disco my friend. Haha

I was hoping I might have some snap back but realistically I can already see I will be saggy. Oh well, let me start planning for my plastics!

What's your goal weight? My surgeon didn't give me one, though maybe we will talk about it at our appointment next week. I just picked something, though I'm not sure I want to be that weight if I don't have curves and an apple bottom.

Late-Feb sleevers
Two weeks for me tomorrow, no head hunger yet but damn I want to CHEW. This liquids-only stuff is for the birds. I go see my nutritionist on Thursday and if I'm lucky she will let me move to purees and then I can transition to solids. Mainly I just need to CHEW something. Also, diarrhea! Had it Saturday. Had it today at work. Not cool. But I am glad that I am pooping.

Hair loss
May hair was falling out already and I was ready to shave it bald last Sunday but my SO wouldn't do it. If I lose 30 percent of my hair I won't have any but I've big chopped before and I'll do it again. Plus I have a bunch of wigs I use when I sing with the band so I'll just wear those and get more. I think I just want to not be fat and unhealthy more than I care about my hair. hahaa

Successfully navigated a dinner party
I'm barely two weeks out from surgery and still on liquids only. A friend threw a party for another friend of ours and I had assumed it was going to be the open house sort of situation she normally hosts, but it turns out it was a small group and a sit down dinner. Neither of these friends know about my surgery and I wasn't ready to share so I had decided to say my stomach was a little upset so I wouldn't be drinking and prolly wouldn't eat much. Well turns out my stomach WAS upset and I had diarrhea (it cleared up before I left for the party, but I was worried it would resurface!!), so I guess I talked it up. In any case, that excuse worked and I put a few things on my plate moved them around, fed some to the dog, sipped water and nobody cared. But I was determined not to be "niced" into eating something (you know what I mean "have a small bite, it's OK!" or "Just taste this" or "a sip of champagne shouldn't upset your tummy anymore") before I left home and I was glad it turned out to not be needed. Just made me feel good about going forward and my commitment to lifestyle change.

Hydration issues after surgery
I just said this in another thread but my surgeon had me sipping 1 ounce of liquid over 15 minutes those first few days. Try that slow sipping and see if that works.

Not taking my vitamins
I take chewable Flintstones with iron because I am anemic/low ferritin and my surgeon just told me to take them twice a day instead of once. When I am through with this liquid diet I can go back to my calcium citrate with vit d and magnesium supplements, but otherwise I don't have to take anything else. I am just a couple weeks out from surgery so I assume I'm doing OK.
