I am 35 years old, married to an amazing man and l am a blessed mother of four gorgeous children. I am currently at the pre op stage, scheduled for my first surgeon consult on the 4^th May 2011 – very excited. Basically, l have struggled with my weight since childhood, and like many l have try countless diets, eating programs and exercise regimes, to no avail. Of course weight did come off, but it went back on again and then some. As l look at my precious children and my husband who absolutely adores me, l want more for them. I want them to have a mother/wife who loves life, has boundless energy to play with them, and no dark clouds over her head. I want to be a role model for my girls, so they learn to love their bodies and not feel ashamed. I want to live and no longer just survive. I want to be……..finallyhappy
