    Kelly, Aceves or Alvarez

The hospital is called both. When you go inside one side is for Oasis patients and the other side is where Dr. Kelly does his surgery. When you go, if someone goes with you, be sure to tell them they can have the cafeteria cookmanything for them. They mostly serve vegan but will special order

    Kelly, Aceves or Alvarez

I loved Dr. Kelly. I had my surgery in February and I have been so blessed with good results. You will be happy in your choice.

    Recently decided to get sleeved!

Dr. Kelly did my sleeve in February and I am doing great. He is a very nice man. Trish was wonderful.
  4. Has anyone done the Body-for-Life 12week challenge since surgery? I'm thinking about it but know I can't do the food part...way too much food per meal. Any ideas? I've hit a month long stall and it's my fault because I haven't begun exercising and it's time to do something
  5. Actually the cafeteria will cook just about anything you want. They made protein shakes, egg sandwich and other foods for my sister. She is not a vegan and they were very accommodating

    Mexican Doctors

For that kind of money you can have the surgery done in the Dallas, TX area

    HCG diet?

Be careful where you get the HCG. dr. oz did an episode on it and I decided to do some research. The stuff you can get without a prescription only contains a trace of the hormone because it is controlled by the FDA. So don't get ripped off buying it online and make sure you have a doctor monitor the process
  8. Make sure you check with the US Embassy before traveling to Juarez. They were warning Americans about crossing the Texas border. I had my surgery in Tijuana and think that is a much safer area. I'm originally from Texas and I wouldn't even consider Juarez right now
  9. My sister used Dr. Vuong. She was happy with him.
  10. I went to Tijuana but I used Dr Kelly. Dr Kelly does surgery at a hospital where you would spend at least two nights. He does over sew on the suture line. I didn't have sutures that needed to be removed after as he uses surgical glue for the incisions. I would be happy to give you my coordinators name if you want to check out Dr. Kelly. He is a Christian and a very nice man. He was born in the US and served in our military before going to Mexico to practice medicine. Send me a private message and I will send you the name and number for my coordinator. There is also a physician for after care once you get home you can call at anytime with any questions. He is very nice and knowledgable as well.
  11. I use Tylenol Jr melt aways, I just take 2 of them and they melt in my mouth. I've been taking them for years...long before WLS

    FINALLY IN MEXICO!!

Love Dr Kelly!!! I was there Feb 17th and I have had such a good time of it, I don't even feel like I've had surgery. This is great!
  13. Hi Sadie, I have the same thing under one of my incisions. I think its the one that they used to hold the liver out of the way. I think it will go away soon. How are you doing? How are meals going for you? Donna
  14. Hi Donna. My name is Deb. We are neighbors. Howdy. LOL. Who's your surgeon? I had my surgery in Aug. w/Dr. Hoehn at Shawnee Ms. and I LOVE MY SLEEVE!!!!! If you have ? or just want to talk I am available. Good luck.

  15. I am defintely interested in a KC support group. I had to self pay for my surgery and went to Mexico so it would be wonderful to have some people locally for support.
