1. I totally fubar'd that reply but you guys get the point.
2. @Rachel. Do you eat that much at one meal.? My doctor is saying for me to eat only 1/2 c to 3/4 c food per meal. What you describe sounds like two times that amount.
3. Im going to have to learn about some of what you mentioned (pbing and slimed) either way that doesnt sound good. Thanks for answering. It just doesnt seem easy to attain to 1/2 c food even with the band. Im not hungry yet but they say its coming. Your losses speak for themselves
4. I am supposed to get my first fill around June 16th. Thats 5 weeks from my surgery date. Not sure how much they will do. I agree with the above poster we are supposed to let this first 5 weeks be that of recovering, getting to know the band and not focus on losing. We are not supposed to do strenuous exercise but walking is good. I am like you. I just want to start losing but seeing as the band is pretty much a lifetime thing we do have plenty of time for that. Sounds like you are doing great and that your head is in a good place. Heres to losing
5. That gas is terrible. I still have some still and in same spot. Yummy pureed food and driving whoot
6. Good luck your day is soon approaching
7. Just curious how all the May 2011 Bandsters are doing?
8. Good luck looks like youll be banded tommorow
9.
You are doing awesome. I cant wait to chew some real food. Im not hungry but that is what I miss. Food with substance. I have only been getting about the same calories in between 400 and 700. Just not much I want to eat. Im a carb addict also so that will have to be curbed to be really successful. And its not the good carbs either

11. Yep its official this liquid/mushy diet sucks royally! I walked around Wal Mart grocery looking for mushy food I would want to eat and yeah resorted to buying more yogurt and soup. But I am thinking maybe I will drop some pounds this month. I have only lost 11 pounds since the surgery 13 days ago. Only woke up with a .5 loss this morning. But I havent been able to walk much cause I do not feel well. I believe its just from lack of nutrients. Tomorrow Im allowed to go on supplements and vitamins and minerals. I am not getting enough protein either, everything Ive found I cant seem to stomach. It is just gross. I am hoping after talking the supplements and vitamins I will feel stronger. I am getting plenty of calcium as seems I can tolerate yogurt and milk products well. Heres hoping to some energetic days soon.
12. Nice info. Im am freaking scared of my first fill. I dont do well with needles and I hope to God it isnt that bad for me. I am curious though since you are just six weeks out what are you eating and how much calories are you taking in daily? You have a great loss be proud.
13. O that is too funny.
14. Totally relate. So what are you eating? Just curious
15. Good luck sweetie. You are sounding very determined. Wishing you all the best on your weight loss journey
16. Sounds like you are doing fantastic. I bought some baby food also but haven't hate the courage or desire to eat it.
17. Hows that mushy diet going for you. It is driving me nuts. Looks like you have a great loss so far

Yesterday went to see my care provider. Bandages off, incisions are small except for the one by the port. I think they will heal nicely, not raised or bumpy. Care provider said full liquid diet and follow the handbook they gave me. Well handbook says Im on week two and I can go to pureed foods. So I had a little cottage cheese, oatmeal and and a shake today. Not hungry. She said it will come back but I dont want the hunger to come back. It gets difficult to be around other people eating. Some of the guys had cheeseburgers for lunch and one had a hot roast beef sandwich and potatoes and gravy. Smelled yummy. Im not hungry but my mouth is watering I saw a picture of my lovely band. She asked if they put some fluid in my band already. That I could not answer. I do have some left shoulder pain that comes and goes and not sure what that is. The terrible gas and bloating has gone and I feel human again. Im wanting a potato. Dont know why but I do. Maybe my body needs a certain mineral. Cant go on supplements until next week. Its been one week since my surgery and I have went to work everyday this week. I am pooped but recovering quickly. I ordered some exercise videos "Zumba Dance" for my Kinect and P90X. I know Im not ready for either yet but getting geared up.

Welcome to the site Sue.
21. Do what makes you feel comfortable. Four pound loss that is great. That is a sack of sugar when you think of it
22. Looking forward to hearing about your journey to a healthier you.
23. Hey pretty lady so good to hear that He came through for you. I know He will have his hands on you during your surgery. His peace is yours. Im very excited for you. Blessings.
24. I would use a powder to keep you dry when you exercise. Not perfumed. Some people use just plain corn starch. You have to keep it dry or your skin will break down. You dont want that to happen. If your skin does break down and gets an open sore you should go to the doctor.
