  1. Thank you for the kind words and gentle push. I think I just needed to put it out there and see it in black and white. I've got a grocery list made for tonight and just signed up for a pilates class starting Monday. Thanks for being there!!!

  2. I was sleeved on June 7, 2011. I started at 298 lbs. I dropped to 199 lbs. I've since settled at 210 lbs and haven't moved in 6 months. I'd still like to lose 50-60 lbs. (Goal weight 150 lbs).

I've found myself getting frustrated with the stall and am falling back into bad head space habits, which then keeps the vicious circle in place. Even thought my portions are small, I'm not making the best choices in food anymore. My mother recently passed away at only 59, and I've used that as an excuse to get off of my exercise routine.

So, I'm not gaining, but I'm definitely not going in the right direction.

I just need some tough love/motivation today!

    Thanks,

    Melissa

  3. I usually just tell people I've had surgery recently and have to wait a while to drink.....and that I'm still healing so a lot of foods still bother me. If they ask what, I usually use the very vague "female stuff" :) .....most people don't ask many more questions than that. It isn't that I mind sharing, I just don't want to share details with people I don't know. For me, that's just me in general...I'm fairly private overall anyway until I get to know people.

  4. I know I'm late to this thread, but I wanted to add my 2 cents. You look FANTASTIC! I can't wait to get to that point. More than the weight loss, the new boobies, anything.....the smile you have now goes all the way to your eyes; it's easy to tell it's REAL. I'm so glad you have that happiness with yourself. I'm only 3 months out, but that's what I can't wait to find the most. And, yes, I know it should always be there, but I've been missing it for a while, and am just starting to feel like myself again.

Please keep us posted on your journey.....I too will have no qualms about doing some maintenance once I see where everything ends up! Thanks for sharing your story and the pictures...it really does mean a lot!

  5. I tried searching, but couldn't figure out the right words to get an answer. I'm almost 3 months out and have had absolutely no issues until this past week. It seems like everything/everytime I eat I'm having much more nausea than I've ever had (really none up to this point). One morning I ate cottage cheese, just like I do almost every day, and immediately threw up. Several times since, I'm getting really gurgly stomach, sweating, and feeling sick to my stomach. This has been going on for about a week. There's no "pain", just nausea. It's making me extremely uninterested in eating or drinking anything.

It's just so strange, up to this point, I've really had such a stellar experience, I'm concerned.

Thanks for any insight and/or advice.
